Allyson works at The Blood and Tissue Center and has therefore been educated about the significance of tissue donors. She knows that her gift of tissue will enhance and potentially save the life of a patient in need and Allyson feels this is a way to create a lasting legacy. Allyson says, “It’s like immortality,” and she enjoys knowing that a part of her will live on after she is gone.
